Sole Support Orthotics

What is an orthotic?

“An orthotic is a supportive device which is placed inside footwear, to change the mechanical function of the foot. It works dynamically during weight-bearing activities like walking, running and standing. Ideally, it should provide full, custom and corrected arch contact so that the foot works in a biomechanically correct way.” – Sole Supports

Who needs orthotics?

Anyone who is experiencing faulty foot mechanics may be in need of orthotics. When a person has faulty foot mechanics, pain and deformity can arise in the feet. “Because foot function affects the entire chain of bones leading to the spine, pain, and dysfunction in the knee, hip, and low back often result as well.” – Sole Supports

  • Conditions that may benefit from custom orthotics:
  • Bunions
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Heel spurs
  • Knee pain
  • Back pain
  • Hip pain

What can Advanced Health Services offer you?

Business Health Services exclusively uses Sole Supports for our foot orthotics. Sole supports are true custom, biomechanical foot orthotics that are fitted in the clinic and then sent off to be tailored to your foot. Once returned, the orthotics are fitted and adjusted if necessary. You will receive training about the custom orthotics and are welcome to follow-up when needed. Ask your doctor if orthotics may help you!

“Good posture and joint health begin where the foot meets the ground.” – Sole Supports
